Hours for the mobile van is 8:30-17:30 Monday to Friday with rota Saturday 8:00-1pm 1/3 Saturdays

My client, a busy main dealer in Brighton, is looking for a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join their existing, experienced team. My client is open minded about seeing people with or without main dealer experience, so if you are currently in an independent and are looking for your first step in to main dealer, apply to find out more information.

The position would suit an individual with Roadside Assistance / Mobile Servicing experience or a technician looking for a more varied role, as this involves dealing directly with customers at their own premises. We are looking for candidates who will be confident in liaising with our customers to give them the very best recommendations for their vehicle / business needs.

You will be required to:
• Carry out minor to major mechanical repairs.
• Be competent in using diagnostic equipment.
• Be able to interpret and complete paperwork.
• Confidently discuss issues with customers.
• Have a friendly and good telephone manner.
• Be approachable to customers.

You will require a driving licence and a relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3/4 or equivalent as a minimum.

Key Requirements -

• Level 3 qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Full, clean driving licence (essential).
• Own tools (desirable).
